About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and software.
Monitor system performance and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and network resources.
Handle system upgrades, backups, and patch management.
Ensure data and system security by setting up firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, OS, and applications.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
Document system configurations, scripts, and procedures.
Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in managing Linux servers in virtualized environments.
Strong understanding of network configuration, security management, and database administration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
